Join The 1st Annual Chattanooga Heroes Run

Join us on Saturday, July 16, to run/walk five miles to remember and honor each of the Chattanooga men who gave the ultimate sacrifice on July 16, 2015. All monies raised after expenses are paid will go to the families of the fallen five.

The first annual Chattanooga Heroes Run/Walk is a five mile race that begins on Amnicola Highway at the Naval Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center, follows part of the path that EMS took on July 16 down Amnicola, then connects to the Riverwalk, winds through UTC’s campus, and ends on 5th Street, just south of the Challenger Center.
Click here to see the race route.

Following the five mile run/walk, there will be a one mile kids fun run through UTC’s campus beginning at 10 a.m. After the run/walk, join us at Challenger Field for an expo the whole family will enjoy.

To register or sign up to volunteer, visit the event website.

In partnership with Erlanger Trauma Center and Rock Creek, UTC is proud to be a main sponsor of the first annual Chattanooga Heroes Run/Walk. As decided by the families of the five servicemen, all profits from the event will be donated to help fund a permanent memorial that will be built near the NOSC off Amnicola Highway. You can follow the event on Facebook here.
