Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford residents showed off their hand-painted pinewood derby cars during the Father's Day barbecue party.

Paint and paintbrushes brought Morning Pointe dads and their loved ones together as they painted their own cars and showcased them in the Best Hot Rod and Best in Show contests. 

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, the assisted living community participates in annual observances that bring residents and their loved ones together.
