Irvin Nicholas Holt, 96, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Saturday, June 25, 2016 in a local health care facility.
He was very active, still driving at the age of 96, and he enjoyed sports.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Holt, brother, Glenn Holt and sister, Mary Dunevant.
Survivors include his son, Gary (Gretta) Holt, nephew, Jim (Faye) Wallin, granddaughter, Amanda Holt Miller, great-granddaughters, Avery Elizabeth Miller and Hannah Grace Miller, niece, Nancy Holt and several other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
