Bernadette L. Seibel, 91, of Ooltewah, died on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Bernadette was born and raised in Pittsburg, and was of the Catholic faith. She and her late husband moved to Lakeland, Fl., after their retirement, and Bernadette moved to Chattanooga after his passing to live near her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lewis, Jr.; and parents, August and Eva Seiler.
Surviving are her daughter, Joanne Flowers and husband, Bob; son, Rev. Frank Seibel, III “Skip” and wife, Karol; son, William Seibel and wife, Lesa; daughter, Eva Coppola; grandchildren, Bob (Heather) Flowers, Jeff (Nicole) Flowers, Nathan (Jennifer) Seibel, Hope Sweeny, Mark (Melissa) Seibel, Meagan Sweeny, Karlie Seibel, Jennifer (James) Adams, Josh (Melissa) Seibel; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Loretta) Seibel; and several nieces and nephews.
The family extends their thanks to her beloved niece and care giver, Linda Warner and husband, John.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
