Roy D. Cronon Sr., 85, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

He was retired from Koehring Southern and founded The River Inn on Suck Creek Road. He was an Army Vet and a member of VFW Post 4848.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cronon, parents, Ella Mae and Nelson Cronon; brothers, Jim Cronon, Frank Cronon, Charles Cronon; Sisters, Bert Young, Virginia Rainey and Agnes Davis.

He is survived by three daughters, Judy Rogers, Callie LeCompt & Ruthie Parrish; one son, Roy Cronon, Jr.; six grandchildren and a special granddaughter, Abby Cronon; and one stepson, Steve Wright.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 4, at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
