Douglas B. Ruffner, 57, died on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska. 

Doug was a graduate of 1977 Red Bank High School and earned a BS degree from Tennessee Tech. He was a design engineer with John Deere.

Survivors include his step-father, Tommy Standifer of Chattanooga; brother, Charles (Ivina) Ruffner, Jr., of Kingston, Tn.; one nephew; and several cousins.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 2, in Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Eric Duble officiating.
