Sterling Jetton Is The Best Choice - And Response

  • Thursday, February 11, 2016

I am writing this letter in support of a true, longtime public servant, Sterling Jetton. Sterling worked his way through the ranks of the Assessor's Office under great leadership from former Assessors Claude Ramsey and Bill Bennett. He knows how to run the office of Assessor and has the support of his former leaders which speaks volumes for his ability to organize and to lead effectively.

This office has been one of the most effective and successfully operated in the state for many years. Let's keep it one of the best.

Join me and vote for Sterling Jetton for Assessor of Property.

I have read recent articles regarding candidates for the Assessor of Property stating you can't go wrong with any of the three. I strongly disagree. I believe Sterling Jetton is the only candidate for the job.

Sterling has the experience and understanding of the main focus of this job; fair appraisals for every property owner in Hamilton County and provide the staff the necessary resources to accomplish this task in the most efficient manner.

The word modernization keeps getting thrown around.  Modernization began in 2013 when the current assessor purchased a top of the line computer system that has yet to reach its full potential. Mr. Jetton has the leadership skills to continue to move forward in an office that is already recognized as one of the best in the state.

Please join me as I proudly support a man who when elected will never embarrass this office or this county.
