Fur Harvesters Annual Sale In Crossville Is Feb. 20

  • Monday, February 1, 2016

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will be on hand to provide fur harvesters with bobcat and otter tags at the annual Fur Harvesters Association sale on Feb. 20, at the National Guard Armory in Crossville.

Check in starts at 8 a.m. Central Standard Time and the sale will begin 9:30 a.m. The event will continue until all sales are final.

This is the 37th year for the sale, but due to lower fur prices and less demand, this will be the only fur sale in 2016.

Table reservation will open Saturday, Feb. 6, beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Reservations will be received by Ms. Debbie Ross-Smith at 423 710-5300. Walk-ins are welcome. Current fur harvester regulations can be found in the 2015-2016 Hunting and Trapping Guide at tnwildlife.org.
