CCS, Signal Mountain Split In District 7-AA Matchup

The Chattanooga Christian School basketball teams split with Signal Mountain in a district 7-AA matchup at CCS.  The Lady Eagles of Signal Mountain held CCS to just 19 points, winning 32-19.  The Charger boys improved their district record to 2-0 with a 54-45 win. 

In the low scoring girls game, Signal Mountain led 10-6 at the half.  Signal would score 14 in the third quarter to open up the lead to 24-13 going into the fourth quarter. 

Kendall Davis had 12 points to lead Signal Mountain.  CCS was led by Kate Dirkse with 13 points.  

In the boys game, CCS opened it up in the fourth quarter after trailing 31-25 at the half. and 39-38 at the end of the third quarter.  CCS would hit 10 of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter to earn the win.  

CCS's Ryan Rhodes led all scorers with 23 points.  Jaron Raoen had 14 points for Signal Mountain.
