MaryAnn Crenshaw Smith, 79, of Calhoun, Tennessee, died on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
She was born on August 19th, 1937 to the late Henry and Lillian Crenshaw; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Smith; brothers, Daniel and James Crenshaw; and sister, Marie Carlock.
MaryAnn professed Christ at a very young age. She was a faithful member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church of Calhoun, where she played the piano for the adult and youth choir. She was the Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, and a member of the Ladies Missionary Society, until her illness. She was an employee of a sewing factory for many years, even working after she was retired. She continued to give her services to the people in the community by being a trusted and loving caregiver until her stroke in 2006.
She is survived by three sons, Stacey (Jackie) Crenshaw, Keith (Connie) Crenshaw of Charleston, TN and Kevin (Sherry) King of Athens, TN; two brothers, Paul (Eula Jean) Crenshaw of Riceville, TN and Glen Albert Crenshaw of Wichita, KS; sister, Roberta (Thomas) Jackson of Etowah, TN; two grandsons, Martin (Melissa) King and Brandon Crenshaw of Charleston, TN; six great-grandchildren, Shontel, Caira, and Kharma King, and Christopher, Landon Jaybo and Jezel Crenshaw; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
