Anthony Hampton
Anthony Guerome Hampton, Sr., 58, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, November 28, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Siggie Hampton; son, Anthony “Tony” Hampton, Jr.; brothers, Lavon and Ezra Charles Hampton.
Survivors include his wife, Nedra Hampton; sons, Montorious (Mandi) Hampton, Jay Jones, and Desmond Covington; daughters, Adeena Hampton and Amecia Harland; nine grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; sister, Bernadine (Thomas) Jones, of Muscle Shoals, AL; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He will lie in state on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
