Betty Jo Kincaid, 83, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday morning, December 8, 2016, in a Chattanooga hospital.
Mrs. Kincaid was the daughter of the late Lela Long Knight and Fred Knight; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Witsel Kincaid; her son, Jimmy Kincaid; her sisters, Shirley Williams and Bobbie Helton; and her brother, Virgil Knight.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzle books and watching game shows. Mrs. Kincaid was a member of the Samples Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Ratcliff and her husband Roger of Cleveland; her sons, Danny Kincaid and his wife Vicky of Calhoun, TN and David Kincaid of Chattanooga; her five grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; her three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Hunsucker and her husband Bobby and Dorothy Whaley all of Cleveland; her special friend, Faye Groomes also of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Shane McCann officiating. Interment will follow in the Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
