Kate Goforth, 87, of Hixson, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.
Kate retired as a registered nurse from Erlanger. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Goforth; and parents, Auther and Nell Creasman.
Kate is survived by her daughter, Sharon Goforth of Hixson; sons, Stanley Goforth of Hixson, and Frank Goforth, of Cleveland, OH.; sisters, Shirley Whaley, of Cleveland, and Sonya Buckner of Lonoir City, Tn.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 2-6 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
