Osun (Kwon) True, 85, of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Chattanooga.
She was a native of Seoul, South Korea, and moved to Decatur over 50 years ago. She was the owner and operator of Lee’s Restaurant in Decatur since 1975. She was a member of Korean Full Gospel Church of Chattanooga.
She was born on April 9, 1931 to the late Youn C. Kwon and Sunja Shem.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Yunsok and Kyunghui Kwon, of South Korea; daughters, Edna (Donnie) Barnes, of Chattanooga, Betty True, of Chattanooga and Dorthy True (Chad Hammond), of Decatur; sisters, Osuk Kwon and Obok Kwon, of South Korea; five grandchildren, Jake Kwon, Chris Kwon, Shana True, Brandon Barnes and Lindsay Barnes; and great-grandsons, Wyatt and Liam Kwon.
Funeral service Monday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mtn. View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, at the funeral home.
