Large New Dance Club In Hixson Has Grand Opening On Saturday

Flashbacks, the large, new dance club in Hixson, will have a grand opening on Saturday.

 

The Chattanooga Beer Board gave owner Libby Stamey, a special events beer permit Thursday morning so that the club will be able to stay open later than usual that night.

 

The club, located at 1966 Northpoint Blvd.

suite #126, will specialize in music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The venue has a capacity of 544 including the employees and will be for customers 21 and up and no smoking or weapons will be allowed.

 

There will be security personnel stationed at the door and roving throughout the crowd and interacting with them so that they will be perceived as approachable if a problem arises, it was stated.

 

Live entertainment will be at Flashbacks this Saturday night and on the weekends. Weeknights the bar will have DJs and karaoke. The grand opening will take place from 8 p.m. until 3 a.m.
