The Wyatt family at the Habitat for Humanity dedication
Two local women’s dreams of becoming homeowners were delayed but not denied thanks to the support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga and their funding partners. The two women, Randesha Beck and Kori Wyatt, received mock keys to their two new homes Saturday during a special dedication ceremony hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area.
Ms. Beck and Ms. Wyatt were strangers at the start of their journeys at Habitat for Humanity, the overall experience coupled with their stories created a strong bond, said officials. They are not only friends, but now they will be next-door neighbors. Their new homes are at 3420 Highland Ave. and 3421 Highland Ave., located in the Villages at Alton Park.
Habitat’s 257th and 258th homes were funded by Rivermont Presbyterian Church and the Ailing Family. This is the 17th Habitat home sponsored by Rivermont Presbyterian.
