Charles “Boy” Layne, 42, of Dunlap and formerly of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Layne; grandparents, Jesse & Ether Layne and Spence & Daisy Kilgore; aunt, Reva “Tranie” Layne; and uncles, Billy Ray Kilgore and John Mitchell Kilgore.
He is survived by his mother, Irene (Bobby) Nunley of Tracy City; special mother & father, Betty Powell & Dale Farley; brother, Kevin (Bridgett) Layne of Dunlap; sisters, Melissa (Andy) Meeks, Linda Layne and Angie Walker of Tracy City, Jennifer Aitken, Joy Marshall and Janice Teague of Dunlap; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.
Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
