Sadie Mae Gray, 73, of Apison, died at her home on Friday, August 28, 2015.

Sadie was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith.

Sadie worked at the Chattanooga Bottling Company and Standard Coosa Thatcher in her earlier years. She also owned Stages Bar & Grill on Lee Highway.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Gray whom she fell in love with and married on April 6, 1960, one son, Timothy L. Gray and his wife, Kelly, one daughter, Linda J. Sanders and son-in law, Keith who Sadie loved like a son. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Sanders, Samantha Gray, Taylor Nation, and Cody Wilson and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jaxton, and Weston Sanders. Sadie also is survived by two nieces, Debra Lee Mizejewski and Elizabeth Diane Wilson, both of California.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, in the funeral home chapel with Harold McClure officiating. Burial will follow in the Plowman Cemetery.
