County Commissioner Marty Haynes said Donnie Hutcherson will be his campaign treasurer in his race for assessor of property.
Commissioner Haynes, a licensed real estate agent and technical sales agent for Porter Warner, said, “Donnie Hutcherson is a trusted advisor to many in Chattanooga, and I am deeply humbled for his willingness to serve in our campaign.”
Mr. Hutcherson is a certified public accountant and managing partner of Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough.
Barry Watson, civic and community leader, will serve as chairman of finance and will lead the fundraising efforts for the race. “Barry’s community reach and leadership is a tremendous asset to our efforts. I am deeply honored by his support,” said Commissioner Haynes.
Tony Sanders was campaign treasurer for Commissioner Haynes when he ran for County Commission. However, he will not serve in the role at this point since he is now Hamilton County Republican Party Chairman. That move was made "to honor the bylaws of the Tennessee Republican Party regarding neutrality in primary elections," it was stated.
The Haynes campaign said, "The leadership team includes multiple business leaders and political veterans that bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the campaign."
The Haynes team also includes:
Donna Bailey Tracy Flippo Rick Prichard
Steve Bandy Jim Floyd David Queen
David Barto Rita Haskew Jay Simpson
Jay Bell Geoff Holden Art Stavrum
Oscar Brock Scott Holden Mack Tipps
Will Clegg Greg Martin Roger Tuder
Keith Clingan Craig Miller Porter Warner, III
Jeff & Cindy Cronan
Completing the Haynes’ leadership campaign team are:
– Campaign Consultant: Robin Smith, principal of Rivers Edge Alliance and former chair of the Hamilton County and Tennessee Republican Party
– Campaign Manager: Vince Butler
Commissioner Haynes said, “The team we’ve assembled reflects my approach: Building on the best leadership traditions of the past while always moving forward.”
The assessor of property race will be included on the March 1, 2016 ballot with early voting set to begin Feb. 10, 2016.
