Myrtle Burgess
Myrtle Burgess, 78, of Pikeville, died on August 26, 2015 in a Sparta, Tennessee hospital.
Myrtle was a devoted member of New Hope The Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Nellie Brewer; two brothers, Hubert and Leslie Brewer.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Don) Evans, of Pikeville, Barbie Walker, Crossville; one son, Joe (Tina) Burgess, Dayton; four granddaughters, Shawna Walker, Samantha Walker, Melanie (Justin) Brady, Heather (Dwayne) Reel; two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Bella Reel; one brother, James (Janet) Brewer; and a sister-in-law, Burma Brewer; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Eric Wood, Barry Whitaker, and Roger Pennycuff officiating. Burial will be in Beach Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-9 p.m. CDT, and Friday from 9 a.m. until service time.
