Thursday Girl's Soccer Round up

GPS 3 SIGNAL MOUNTAIN 0  The GPS soccer team scored three goals in the second half to beat visiting Signal Mountain 3-0 Thursday night.  Senior Keyle Snyder had two goals and freshman Lane Lawerance had one goal.  Lilly Hopping had two assists and Zoe Rustand had one.  Freshman keeper Lexi Besh earned the shutout for GPS. 

HIXSON 7 CSAS 2 Hixson's Samantha Green scored three goals in the Lady Wildcats 7-2 win over CSAS.  Jensen Dupree had two goals.  Morgan Dupree and Karla Martinez also had goals.  Morgan Dupree had four assists.  Sydney Rigler had eight saves and Emilee Swafford had two.  CSAS' goals were scored by Kielyn Bright with one assist going to Kate Fraser.  

 BAYLOR 4 MCMINN COUNTY 1  Baylor's Chloe Maize had two goals and two assist in their 4-1 win over McMinn County.  McMinn County led 1-0 after a Shelby Wilson goal early in the game.  Kamryn Bloh scored off an assist from Chloe Maize to tie the game at one.  Maize then scored two more on an assist from Ara Rhodes and Kamryn Blow to give Baylor a 3-1 halftime lead.  Lainee Bohannon scored the final goal assisted by Maize.  Baylor's Peyton Randolph had three saves and Kaitlynn Winder had 10 for McMinn.  Baylor is now 3-2 on the season. 

EAST RIDGE 6 MARION COUNTY 0 Abby Sweatman had two goals in the Lady Pioneers 6-0 win over Marion County.  East Ridge scored all six goals in the first half.  Kayla Deck, Emily Spiers, Serena Smith and Ana Stanford each had goals.  Sweatman, Deck, Smith and Rebecca Mendez had assists.  Morgan Montieth had one save for East Ridge.  East Ridge improves to 1-0-1 on the season and 1-0 in the district.
