CARTA Parking Spots Are Free On The Fourth

The Chattanooga Parking Authority has announced downtown parking meters will not be enforced (and need not be paid) on Saturday in honor of the Independence Day holiday.

Paid parking for all street meters will also be suspended for these remaining holidays in 2015:

                   Labor Day (Monday, September 7, 2015)

          Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 26, 2015)

              Day following Thanksgiving (Friday, November 27, 2015)

          Christmas Day (Friday, December 25, 2015)

Parking in an unlawful area or manner (bus or loading zones, yellow curb, no parking, handicap space, Fort Wood Residential District, etc.) is enforceable        24 hours / 7 days a week.

Bus passes will not be available at the Chattanooga Parking Authority office during these times.
