Cleveland City Schools Achieves Top Scores

The state of Tennessee has publicly released District 2014-2015 EOC and TCAP results. Cleveland City Schools earned the top score of 5 in all major district TVAAS Growth Measures.

Grades 3-8 showed steady and impressive achievement gains in all three subject areas – Math, Reading, and Science, said officials. Economically Disadvantaged students showed reductions in gap closure measures in almost every tested area. 

Director of Schools Dr. Martin Ringstaff, said, “The Board of Education and I are proud of these significant growth scores. The teachers, students, and administrators have worked hard over the past year, and their commitment shows with this growth. Cleveland City Schools will continue to challenge and educate our students to prepare them for college and careers.”
