The Red Bank Gators and the Ridgeside Dolphins were supposed to swim each other for the second time in three days, but the overall winner was the weather man.

The meet had not yet reached the midway point when lightning, thunder and heavy rain caused a delay with Ridgeside leading 165-156 following the medley relays.

After a discussion with the respective pool reps, coaches and league officials, the meet was declared a draw.

Burke Murphy had 12 points to lead Ridgeside while teammates Cleo Scott and Ewan Whaley both scored 10.  Benjamin Meagher was tops for Red Bank with 10 points.

Red Bank now concludes its regular season with a record of 6-1-1 while Ridgeside is now 3-3-1 with a Monday meet at Cumberland upcoming.

Red Bank had prevailed over Ridgeside by a commanding 415.5-350.5 margin on Tuesday.

The annual Bill Caulkins City Meet will conclude the season for everyone next weekend at Fort Oglethorpe.
