Epic Lip Sync Battle Set For May 25

  • Saturday, May 9, 2015

Ever After Productions, in conjunction with The Camp House, will host the first Epic Lip Sync Battle, happening May 25, at 7 p.m.

Brought to popular culture by “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” lip sync battles have grown to become a way to "showcase creativity, individuality, and provide entertainment" to crowds of all ages. With that in mind, Ever After Productions will be hosting the “Epic Lip Sync Battle”, hosted by SheShe Dance.

Contestants compete in three rounds to deliver numerous crowd--pleasing performances for a live audience and a panel of judges. The first round offers contestants a chance to exhibit their creativity and individuality with a one-minute performance of a song of their choosing.  Contestants moving on to the  second round will be provided a well--known song to perform, placing them in the spotlight.  The final round will allow the contestants to continue to showcase their creativity one last time with their last one-minute performance. A panel of judges will choose first, second, and third place winners.

Each contestant, whether group or individual, will each be required to pay a $5 entry fee in addition to a non-perishable food item donation. Admission will be $12 or $10 with a non--perishable food item donation. All non--perishable food item donations will benefit the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.

Contestants may enter, find additional rules or information, or purchase tickets at everafterprod.com. The Camp House is located in Downtown Chattanooga at 149 E MLK Blvd.

Ever After Productions will also showcase a specially selected musical piece from its upcoming performance of “Big Fish”, June 19, 20, 26 and 27 at the Colonnade Theater in Ringgold.
