Education Department Offers Training Session On How To Maximize Play For Developmental Growth

  • Wednesday, May 6, 2015

Hamilton County Department of Education Exceptional Education and Stellar Therapy invite you to attend a parent and staff training session: How to Maximize Play for Developmental Growth on Tuesday, May 19, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the HCDE Board Room 3074 Hickory Valley Road Chattanooga.

How your child plays can have a big impact on his or her development and participation in education. By providing the right opportunities, toys, and environments, we can help prepare our kids for school.

You'll learn what kinds of play experiences facilitate learning, therapeutic tools useful for raising skill levels, and how to interact with your kids to make the most out of playtime! This session is led by Janel Morton, COTA/L.

This is the last training session for the 2014-2015 school year.  If Hamilton County Schools are closed, the training session will be rescheduled. There is no need to RSVP. Professional certificates will be given if requested.
