Auditions For Dolly Parton's 9-5 The Musical! Are May 11-12

  • Tuesday, May 5, 2015

Auditions for Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5, The Musical! will be held at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre Monday and Tuesday, May 11 and 12, at 7:30 p.m.

The musical will be presented on the MainStage of the CTC July 17-Aug. 2. Lindsay Fussell is directing with Allan Ledford as musical director.

The auditions will begin Monday and Tuesday with vocal auditions followed by dance auditions. Actors are asked to wear or bring clothes and shoes that they can dance in – no flip flops, clogs, or super-high heels.

Those auditioning, if they choose, may bring a song (16-32 bars max) to perform for the audition. The musical director will teach selections from the show that everyone will sing first.

Short scenes from the script will be read during acting auditions at call backs on Thursday, May 14.
