Marion County Chamber Awards Local Business Grants May 12

  • Monday, May 4, 2015

The Marion County Chamber of Commerce will be awarding its first series of local business grants on Tuesday, May 12, at 11 a.m. CDT on the historic Marion County Courthouse Square in Jasper.

Spencer Wayne, president of the Marion Chamber stated his reasons for making this a Chamber priority. “The Chamber sees the benefit in strong small business in our community. We know the struggles of maintenance, payroll, and other expenses sometimes hinder us from reaching our goals.  Each year, we are looking to help a few select businesses that we feel will best benefit from some additional funding.”

The public is invited to attend.  David Carroll, WRCB Channel 3 News anchor, will do the presentation honors.
