Rose King Looney, 81, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Monday, May 25, 2015 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Looney; mother, Mary Lee Holland; father, William King; infant son, Hugh Randall Looney; sister, Mary Ellen Hill and brother, Don “Duck” King.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Dr. Tommy) Helm of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Haley Helm (Chip) Walton, Becca Helm (Tyler) Hampton and Thomas Bryson Helm; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose and Ella Brook Walton; brothers, Gene (Pat) King, Marvin (Wanda) King, Jimmy King, Billy (Margaret) King, Paul Don (Brenda) King; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside at 10 a.m. Central time on Wednesday, May 27, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tn.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, May 26, at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
