Chattanooga’s Live Music Scene – Corey Smith & Remembering January At Engel Stadium May 1

The 3rd annual American Dream Concert will be held on May 1 at historic Engel Stadium, benefiting the Veterans Entrepreneurship Program at UTC. Ceremonies will begin at 6:45 p.m., with Remembering January on the program at 7 p.m. and Corey Smith at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. 5,000 seats are available and are under the roof at Engel Stadium, located at 1130 East Third Street.Tickets are $20.00.

With 8 albums to his credit, Corey Smith is a touring machine, earning millions per year with hard work and determination.

His 7th album was “Live in Chattanooga”, and he has always had a huge following in the Scenic City. 

Remembering January won Country Band of the Year a couple years ago, and features a dual winner for both guitar and keyboards in Tyler Southern.

The Veterans Entrepreneurship Program at UTC offers cutting edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to our nations veterans. The VEP Program is offered entirely free to qualified veterans. Goals of the program are:

  • Open the door to entrepreneurial opportunity and small business ownership to veterans
  • Develop competencies in creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture
  • Provide a support structure for continued success as a business owner

This is the third American Dream Concert, with Charlie Daniels and Overland Express performing at the inaugural event, and Here Come The Mummies with the Power Players at last year’s event.
