James County Historical Society Meeting May 3

  • Thursday, April 23, 2015

The next meeting of the James County Historical Society will be on May 3 at 2:30pm at the Ooltewah United Methodist Church.

The program "Andersonville Prison as related by two Prisoners," will be presented by Larry Williams. He will be reading ancestor's letters that were written while in Andersonville Prison. If you have any stories or items from your ancestors that had been imprisoned during the Civil War, we would love for you share them with us. Sounds awesome, doesn't it?

Hope to see everyone there.  As always, it is free to the public and everyone is welcome to attend, so bring a friend with you.
