Nelda “Dolly” Hampshire, 67, of Athens, TN, passed away Sunday morning, April 19, 2015, at her home surrounded by loving family members.
The daughter of the late George and Mildred Roussey Phillips, she was a native of Florida, and spent the last 5 years in McMinn County. She attended St Mary’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Marshall Phillips.
She is survived by her children, Bobby George Hampshire and wife Sheila of Maynardville, TN, Daniel Merle Hampshire and fiancé Amelia Houzy of Kemah, TX, Donald James Hampshire and fiancé Juilie Martin of Athens and Mary Ruth Andrade and husband Ryan of Titusville, FL; grandchildren, Kendra, Carley, Shannon, Justin, Paige, Hannah, Chyann, Sarah, Annie, Gigi and Lexi; great-granddaughter, Maylee; lifelong friend, Duane Hampshire and wife Linda of Titusville, FL; special friends, Eleanor Hampshire of Chiefland, FL, James Shilling of Athens, Sherry Hickman of Cleveland and Angie Pennington of Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephew, and other extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
