Baylor Earns Big Region Soccer Win Over Brentwood

The Baylor boys soccer team hosted Brentwood Academy in a key region soccer match.  Baylor scored three goals in the first half and went on to win 5-1.  

Austin Maize started the scoring for Baylor in the 17th minute off a cross from Kyle Johnston.

In the 19th minute, Victor Ulmo scored from a shot about 20 yards out that went to the bottom left corner.

Daniel Park scored off a cross from Kyle Johnston in the 35th minute to close out the first half scoring.

 

In the 48th minute, Jackson Campbell scored off a Victor Ulmo corner.

In the 51st minute, Kyle Johnston scored off a Lucas Baker cross.

At the 73rd minute, Forrest Wright scored off a cross for Brentwood Academy.

"The most important goal was to get a win for our region,"  Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said. "The second item that we wanted to accomplish, was give our seniors a win for senior night. We have four seniors that given Baylor Soccer so many great memories over the past four years, that we as a team wanted to play well for them. Austin Maize, Lucas Baker, Kyle Johnston, and Colin Brewer have left a great mark on this program for future years."
