McCallie Splits Double Header At Ensworth

McCallie's Justin Glover improved to 5-0 on the season as McCallie defeated host Ensworth, 5-3, in the opener, but fell 4-2 in the nightcap in a  D-II Middle/East Region baseball doubleheader Friday in Nashville.

 

Glover scattered four hits an struck out five in five innings of work, while Corbin Brooksbank gained the save.

 

In the second game, Ensworth scored twice in the sixth to break the 2-2 tie and improve to 13-8 overall and 4-6 in the region.

 

McCallie is 17-7 overall and 8-3 in region play.
