Department Of Transportation Announces Summer Driver's Education Schedule

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announces its Summer 2015 Drivers Education class schedule: 

Summer Session I                                                       Summer Session III

June 8 – 11, 2015; Mon, Tues, Wed & Thur                 July 6 – 9, 2015; Mon, Tues, Wed & Thur

9:00 until 4:45 each day                                                9:00 until 4:45 each day

 

 

Summer Session II                                                      Summer Session IV – Saturday class

June 22 – 25, 2015; Mon, Tues, Wed & Thur               July 11, 18, 25 & August 1; 2015

9:00 until 4:45 each day                                                four consecutive Saturdays

                                                                                       9:00 until 4:45 each day

 

All 4 of these Summer courses will meet at the Public Library Downtown (1001 Broad Street).                     

 

The Drivers Education Program is available to any City of Chattanooga resident 15-22 years of age.  The program consists of 30 hours of classroom training offered over four days.  Once the classroom portion has been completed, each participant will receive 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction, scheduled in three 2-hour sessions.  There is a one-time $50 enrollment fee.
