Doyle Lee Hogan, 50 of East Ridge, died on Monday, March 2, 2015.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Dixie Industries in 2012 after more than 28 years of service and loved racing at Boyd Speedway where he was known as "SweetLee Hogan". He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle "Peewee" Hogan.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Dorothy "Dot" and (Gilbert) Moore of Oneonta, AL; wife, Missy Littlejohn, of East Ridge; mother-in-law, Diane Collins of Rossville; children and spouses, Jennifer Hogan and Billy and (Nikki) Hogan, all of Chattanooga, Tabitha and (Joshua) Patterson of Cleveland, Coby Hogan of Ooltewah, Micah and (Chelsi) Littlejohn and Tymber and (Tommy) Lovelace all of Chattanooga; sisters and brother-in-law, Terri Stephens and Kelli and (Scott) Moye, all of Oneonta, AL; 11 grandchildren; aunt and uncles, Linda and Freddie Ramsey and Dewey Holmes; close friends, Darrell Anderson, Jim Ervin and Jimmy Newman and several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1–5 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.
Services and burial will be private.
