Elliott Davis Decosimo was recognized as the firm with the highest level of annual revenue growth for 2014 by Accounting Today. The firm moves up in rankings from number 51 to 28 on Accounting Today’s 2015 Top 100 Firms list. The publication’s annual Top 100 Firms report ranks accounting firms nationwide based on revenue and evaluates various accounting industry benchmarks.
The 2015 Accounting Today listings marked the first annual rankings released following the merger of Elliott Davis and Decosimo.

Accounting Today’s listings for year-over-year growth in annual revenue, Elliott Davis Decosimo ranked first in the country with a 70 percent growth rate in 2014 and was only one of three firms on the list to exceed a growth rate of 50 percent. While the merger was announced in late October of 2014, Elliott Davis Decosimo began operating as one firm on Jan. 1 of this year. The combined firm has revenues in excess of $109 million for 2014 and brings together more than 800 professionals and specialists in 17 offices across seven states.

In addition to the merger, the firm significantly increased headcount through organic growth. Since 2012 and prior to the merger, the Elliott Davis firm increased headcount by 40 percent from organic growth alone with a focus on professional development and recruitment of both new and experienced hires. In 2014 the firm ranked number two for providing one of the Best Overall Internships in the country by Vault.com.
