Chattanooga Chamber Announces Small Business Award Recipients

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce presented the 2015 Small Business Awards to four recipients at the Chamber’s 33rd annual Small Business Awards Luncheon.

Recipients are:

· The Crash Pad, 1-20 employees category;

·  Summit Physical Therapy, 21-50 employees category;

·  Card-Monroe Corp., 51-200 employees category; and

·   Chambliss Center for Children, nonprofit category.

“Small businesses are vitally important to the region,” said Bill Kilbride, Chattanooga Chamber president and CEO. “Almost 95 percent of our business members fall in the category of small business as defined by our award criteria. Our small businesses make a significant contribution to growing our local economy, and we hope that celebrating their success will inspire others.”

More than 1,300 area business leaders attended the event honoring 12 local companies.

Award finalists included:

·  LearningRx and EBS Consulting LLC, 1- 20 employees;

·  Southern Honda Powersports and TransCard, LLC, 21-50 employees;

·  Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough, PLLC and Preferred Care at Home, 51-200 employees; and

·  Chattanooga CARES and Northside Neighborhood House, nonprofit.

Before and after the awards luncheon, attendees explored EXPO Chattanooga, the region’s tradeshow for local business featuring more than 250 exhibitors and held in conjunction with the Small Business Awards.
