Stanley Cox, 64, of Lafayette, GA, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was born June 4, 1950, son of the late Helen K. Cox.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Penny Hannah Cox of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Vaughn and Tammy Cox of Melbourne, FL; granddaughters, Hannah Whitlock and Katie Cox both of Dalton; two grandsons; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bert and Vickie Hannah of Lafayette; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and Tony McDade of Flagler Beach, FL; cousins, Billy Ray and Rosalie Green of Dalton; other cousins, nieces & nephews; a great-niece; and lifelong friends, Danny Burch and Paul and Mary Kirk.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 2 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Burch, Paul Kirk, Bert Hannah, David Haney, Ryan West and Mason Hester. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.
