Wendell Sue "Tiney" Gilbert Jordan, 68, of Rossville, died on Friday, February 27, 2015.
She was born to the late Joseph and Mary Marie Gilbert in Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith. Tiney was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Riley Jordan; grandson, Christopher Richard Jordan; and sister, Billie June Roden.
Tiney is survived by her children, Wanda McNabb, Hazel Broyles, Clarence (Denise) Outlaw III, Tina Harold, and Elizabeth (Hershel) Hartline all of Rossville; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Chris Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday, all day on Monday, and prior to the service on Tuesday.
