LAUNCH Entrepreneur Celebrates Grand Opening

  • Wednesday, February 11, 2015

LAUNCH entrepreneur Robin Davis will celebrate the Grand Opening of her business, Loving Hands Helping Hearts Transportation this month.

After more than 20 years in the medical industry, Ms. Davis decided it was time for a change.  She was inspired by a patient that came to her office, and shortly thereafter learned about the LAUNCH Business Entrepreneurship Academy.  Ms. Davis got more information, signed up for the Academy and upon completion of LAUNCH’s 10 week business course, she put her plan into action to begin a non-emergency medical transportation company.

"Loving Hands Helping Hearts provides hands-on transportation that shortens wait times, ensures patients arrive to their appointments on time, and are returned to their homes in a comfortable amount of time. More personal and reliable than a taxi, and less burdensome than depending on friends or family, Loving Hands Helping Hearts helps their clients maintain access to vital health care in a friendly and compassionate manner," officials said.

Equipped with three transportation vehicles, Ms. Davis will celebrate her Grand Opening on Feb. 19 at the Loving Hands Helping Hearts office, 6110 Shallowford Road. The event begins at 3 p.m., with an official ribbon cutting set for 3:30 p.m.  This event is open to the Chattanooga community.

LAUNCH’s next round of Business Entrepreneurship Academy classes begin the week of March 9. For more information, visit www.LAUNCHchattanooga.org or call 423-523-9307.
