The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual holiday family tradition, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre.

Review for Home for the Holidays:

The CSO’s annual holiday program returns to its roots with traditional holiday fare, featuring special guest vocalist and Chattanooga native Scott Coulter, star of the Emmy-nominated PBS Special A Christmas Carol: The Concert.  Mr. Coulter will perform songs such as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “O Holy Night”, and pieces from A Christmas Carol.  Other tunes on the concert include “Sleigh Ride”, “Tennessee Christmas” and our annual sing-a-long.

Sunday’s performance includes a special reading of A Christmas Carol with free hot chocolate for the kids at 2:15 p.m. Santa will be at both performances for pictures.

Tickets start at $24 and are available online at www.chattanoogasymphony.org, by calling 267-8583, or in person at the Tivoli Center, 701 Broad St.  Students with a valid student ID and kids 17 and under can attend for $15.
