No Apologies Needed

  • Friday, October 9, 2015

I have read Roy Exum’s work for decades, so I deem myself qualified to have an opinion on his work.

Roy Exum is on a roll and producing his best work ever in my opinion.  Proof that his work is meaningful is the fact that so many people from City Hall to the Hamilton County Jail are demanding apologies for his editorials.

The Exum article titled, “We Want Our City Back,” was a social media sensation being shared among a lot of people that feel disconnected from their local government, and identified to the core of what he has written.

Mr.

Exum also wrote an article about pervasive mistreatment of mentally ill inmates, “Horror Stories from Jail.”   These are well thought out editorials that ruffled the feathers of government and their friends that are now demanding apologies. The masses love hearing truth from writers at a time when media is viewed as less trustworthy than government.

I am demanding that Roy Exum apologize to no one for doing what really talented writers do, incite interest in subject matter.
