The Knights of Columbus Council 6099 will host Oktoberfest for charity on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 4-10 p.m. at the Council Hall, 7615 Lee Hwy.
"Guests will enjoy an authentic old-world menu, featuring beer brats and schnitzel hot off the grill, plus German potato salad, cabbage, kraut, dark bread and butter. Desserts, hot dogs and fries are also on the menu along with a tempting array of imported and domestic beer," officials said.
Oktoberfest will also feature live music and dancing, prize raffles and football on the giant screen.
Admission to Oktoberfest is free. Proceeds from sales of food and other items at the second annual festival will benefit Knights of Columbus supported charities that help people with mental challenges, including Chattanooga Area Special Olympics, Orange Grove Centers and Signal Center.
