A 25-year-old man was shot while riding in a car in Brainerd on Friday night. Then a second person was shot - also in Brainerd - on Saturday afternoon.
In the first incident, police said Anthony Amey had non-life threatening injuries.
At approximately 9:20 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified of a gunshot wound victim being treated at a local hospital.
Officers found that the shooting occurred at 500 South Germantown Road.
The victim stated he was riding in the passenger seat of a car when he was shot. Her said he did not see who shot him.
The driver of the vehicle in which the victim was riding said the suspect vehicle is a black four-door sedan.
In the second case, Chattanooga Police responded to the 900 block of Shallowford Road on a report of a person shot. There police located 34-year-old Paul Holloway suffering from a non-life -threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators are actively following up on leads.
Police said, "There is not believed to be any additional threat to the public."
