Lee, Maxine Reynolds (Summerville)

Maxine Reynolds Lee, 82, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Lee was born in Summerville, GA on August 1, 1932, daughter of the late Lon Reynolds and Alice Ragland Reynolds. She was a member of the Four Mile Baptist Church and was employed with Best Manufacturing before her retirement. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lee; a brother, Claude “Bud” Reynolds and a sister, Ruby LeCroy.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her husband, Billie Joe Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Frankie “Lightnin” and Debbie Lee; a daughter, Janet Lee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Hilda Reynolds, Cecil and June Reynolds, Leric and Juanita Reynolds, Joe and Joyce Reynolds and Raymond Reynolds; two grandchildren, Justin Lee and Stephanie Lee and her fiancé Jessie Cavin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lee will held Sunday, January 25, at 3 p.m. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Kelley and Bro. Joel Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Summerville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Reynolds, Ken Reynolds, Andrew Daniel, Bradley Lee, Kevin Lee and Bryn Lee. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Four Mile Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lee will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday, January 25 from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
