Alice Haston
Alice Juanita "Granny" Haston, 88, of Chattanooga died on Monday, September 15, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was of the United Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Brown, parents, James Lester and Alice Stokes Layton, sister, Mildred Kilpatrick, brother, Jim Layton and niece, Karen Layton.
Survivors include her daughter, Alice (Danny) Norton, grandchildren, Larry Brown, Amanda Brown, Danny (Kellie) Norton, Jr. and Michael (Hannah) Norton, brother, Gary Layton, sisters, Ramona Parham and Sylvia Mains and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lake Hills Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Ga., at 3 p.m.
The family will receive friends on Monday, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
