Funeral services will be Wednesday for a 41-year-old Meigs County woman who was killed Friday afternoon when another vehicle ran into her car on Highway 58 in Meigs County.

Troopers said Klaresha Crass swerved her GMC truck into oncoming traffic to avoid a car waiting to turn left. She hit the Chevrolet occupied by the family of Tammy Renee England Whitted, of Decatur, head-on.

Her husband, Ronald Whitted, was injured. Two children were not injured. Ms. Whitted and the children were not wearing seatbelts.

Ms. Whitted was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include daughters, Kimberly Whitted of Chattanooga and Christy Whitted of Decatur.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hornsby Hollow Cemetery, Ten Mile, Tn., with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Decatur Chapel.
