Retired From Yates Bleachery And Enjoyed Fishing And NASCAR

Joseph Andrew Thomas, 64, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in a local hospital.

He was a former employee of Yates Bleachery and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and spending time with his family and his “special little guy”, his grandson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Thomas.

Survivors include his daughter, Misty Allmon, son, Stanley Ray Thomas, grandson, Cameron Andrew “Little Guy” Clark, mother of his daughter, Paula Thomas, brother, J. W. Thomas, sister, Rita Corriher, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. 

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
