A Chattanooga artist was awarded best in show at the Monteagle Mountain Market for Arts and Crafts on Sunday, out of over 100 other artisans and crafters.

Hannah Foster Pino was surprised and delighted to receive the honor. "This is the first time I've been a vendor at a market," she said. She is finishing her last year as a painting and drawing major at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. "I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Monteagle Mountain Market and couldn’t have done this without the support my wonderful husband."

She is married to Tyler Pino who is also a student at UTC finishing a doctorate of physical therapy.

Ms. Pino’s favorite medium is oil although she enjoys experimenting with fibers and ceramics. “I enjoy trying every form of art that I can, but I always end up back at oil painting.”
